Dying To Know

Being lied by someone? Yeah I hate it too, after being lied several times; I have learned how to spot a liar when I see one or speak with. There are several things you need to pay attention in order to avoid being lied to. Every time someone doesn’t tell the truth, they tend to do these things:

1. Pay attention to their eyes
Are they eyes focusing on something else while talking to you? This is the first sign when someone is lying to you. They don’t have the courage to look you straight in the eyes.

2. Voice changes
You need to pay attention to voice changes. Someone that is lying, usually having his/her voice changed. They get nervous, shake a little bit, you can feel there’s a little doubt in his/her voice. Changes in speaking speed also another sign if someone is telling the truth or not.

3. Face expression
When he/she smiles, does it look sincere? They can just cover the truth behind that smile, so make sure they don’t fake it.

4. Body language
Do they usually touch their hair a lot when they speak ? If they don’t, then it’s an alert for you that they might not tell the truth.

5. Words
Words they choose can also be an indicator if they are lying or not. They tend to use the words that don’t represent themselves, e.g.: they prefer to use “it’s done” rather than “I did it”. It’s probably they didn’t do it.
